Privacy / Your Information
Trust matters after checkout as much as it does before it. This policy explains what Aftrdsk learns from an interaction, why we need it and the choices that remain yours.
To run the store, fulfill orders, provide support and improve.
Some advertising activity may still count as “sharing” under US law.

Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy describes how Aftrdsk (“Aftrdsk,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit aftrdsk.com, communicate with us or purchase from the store.
Aftrdsk operates from California, United States, using Shopify. Depending on where you live, local privacy law may give you additional rights. We describe the main choices below without limiting a right available under applicable law.

Where information comes from
Some information comes directly from you—for example, when you check out, create an account or ask a question. Some is collected automatically through the store and cookies. We may also receive information from providers that support payment, delivery, fraud prevention, analytics, advertising or social features.
We do not ask for more information simply because it is available. The information used depends on the interaction and the service needed.
Why we use it
- to operate the store and present products;
- to authorize payment, fulfill and deliver orders, and handle returns or refunds;
- to create and maintain customer accounts;
- to answer questions and provide customer care;
- to remember preferences and personalize the experience where appropriate;
- to send transactional messages and, where permitted, marketing;
- to understand performance and improve the store;
- to detect fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- to meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory duties; and
- to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Legal bases in Europe and the UK
Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on one or more recognized legal bases:
- Contract when information is needed to take an order, deliver it or provide requested support.
- Legal obligation for tax, accounting, consumer-protection and regulatory records.
- Legitimate interests in operating and securing the store, preventing fraud, understanding performance and improving service—after considering your rights.
- Consent for optional cookies, certain marketing and other activities where consent is the appropriate basis.
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not make earlier consent-based processing unlawful.
Who may receive information
We share information only when there is a practical or legal reason. Recipients may include:
- Shopify and ecommerce providers that host and operate the store;
- payment and fraud-prevention providers;
- warehouses, fulfillment partners and delivery carriers;
- technology, analytics, advertising, marketing and customer-care providers;
- legal, accounting, insurance and security advisers;
- authorities or other parties when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety; and
- participants in a merger, financing, reorganization or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money. Certain analytics or advertising activity may, however, be defined as a “sale,” “sharing” or targeted advertising under some US state laws. Where that applies, use Your Privacy Choices or a supported Global Privacy Control signal.
Shopify
Shopify hosts our storefront and processes information to provide checkout, payment, security, analytics and related ecommerce services. Information may be processed in countries other than your own under Shopify’s safeguards.
For more about Shopify’s role, read Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy.
Cookies, advertising and email
Cookies and related technologies help the store function, remember choices, understand use, prevent fraud and support marketing. Where required, non-essential technologies are used only after consent. Our Cookie Policy gives a clearer breakdown.
With consent or where otherwise permitted, we may send marketing or measure and personalize advertising. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop messages needed for an order, account, security issue or policy change.
International transfers
Aftrdsk and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose privacy rules differ from yours. Where required, we rely on recognized protections such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for fulfillment, support, security, recordkeeping, tax and accounting duties, dispute resolution and enforcement of agreements. The period depends on the information, the relationship and the law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize or securely isolate it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards. No internet or storage system is perfectly secure, so use a unique password and tell us if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and subject to lawful exceptions, you may ask to:
- access or know the personal information held about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete information;
- receive a portable copy;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent;
- opt out of targeted advertising or certain sales or sharing;
- limit certain uses of sensitive information;
- appeal a decision about a request; and
- complain to a data-protection authority.
Email customerservice@aftrdsk.com to exercise a right, or use Your Privacy Choices for applicable advertising opt-outs. We may need to verify identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents may act where the law permits. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Children and external links
The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A higher age threshold may apply where you live. If you believe a child provided information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review it.
External websites and services have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information away from Aftrdsk.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services, providers, practices or legal obligations change. The current version and date will appear here; where required, we will provide additional notice or ask for consent.
Privacy questions and requests are welcome at customerservice@aftrdsk.com.
