Access / Everyone
Good design should be easier to experience. We are working to make Aftrdsk usable by as many people as possible, across different devices, abilities and ways of navigating.
A direction for ongoing improvement, not a claim of perfection.
We will make a reasonable effort to provide one.
Our approach
Accessibility is part of the quality of an online experience. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical reference while improving aftrdsk.com.
The store changes as products, content, technology and third-party services change. For that reason, accessibility is ongoing work rather than a one-time finish line.
What we pay attention to
- clear headings, labels, instructions and link text;
- text alternatives for meaningful images where practical;
- keyboard navigation and visible focus states;
- readable type, contrast and responsive layouts;
- forms, product information and checkout-related journeys; and
- accessibility when new content or features are added.
We prioritize barriers that prevent someone from finding product information, understanding a policy, contacting us or completing a purchase.
Third-party features
Parts of the experience rely on Shopify and other providers, including payment services, applications, embedded content and external websites. We do not control every detail of those services, but we still want to know when one creates a barrier.
When a third-party issue is reported, we will investigate the options available to us and, where practical, offer another way to access the information or service.
If you need assistance
Email customerservice@aftrdsk.com if a page, feature or checkout step is difficult to use. It helps if you include:
- the page or feature involved;
- a short description of what happened;
- the device, browser or assistive technology you were using, if you are comfortable sharing it; and
- your preferred way to receive the information or support.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility-related messages within five business days and will make a reasonable effort to provide an accessible alternative.
Your feedback matters
